I am feeling super happy, coz just I did video calls to all the people whom I care about.

Today’s is pretty much simple, over the course registration meeting, I kinda realize I took up an economics class with lotsa writing in it. Oh nvm, I shall see what goes along. One thing I wanna complain about, is the FREAKING expensive course books UCONN sold there. I bought a USED textbook at $132 USD, and I am the 3^rd user. Gosh man, there is one similar textbook that I have bought over in Singapore, it’s like 70 SGD and here, it cost 166USD. What’s wrong with USA? When all of their authors ARE America?! I think I will be rich if I sell my textbooks over here.

Today, I had lunch with some international friends, and it’s really the lunch I always wanted for my life. Sitting on the grass under the warm sunshine at noon, with a group of friend. Wow, it’s an amazing feeling. I finally understand why Caucasians enjoy laying on the green soooooooooo much. You wont know how relaxing it is unless you try! The grass is clean and dry and insect-free (Almost)! Haha..How I wish I am able to do this with my group of close friends in Singapore, next time, let’s get out of it and try this abroad-I will look forward to the coming of this day.

Had many interesting discoveries today again. A friend of mine was kindda having a “Smoking Weeds 101” lesson of introductory with us. He told us how to smoke weeds using apple and a coke can (no joke!), why smoking weeds is healthier than drinking alcohols and how he abuse a cat by letting the cat to smoke weed too (a German girl later had a shoutout saying that coz cats dun have the mechanism to process smoking weeds like human, a cat that smoke some weeds will get HIGH FOREVER.) Hahaha…we almost couldn’t believe it, so we went to google this fact, which err….didn’t get it verify. Do you think I will try smoking weeds? Nay, coz I never wanna become a “Pot-Head”! (A term for people to smoke weeds.) Pot-Head sound soooo bad. D:

Another discovery of the century was that my group and I probably found the LAST person in the world who haven taste instant noodles and instant Milo. She is Neilmary from Puerto Rico. She is not a wildman, she is perfectly sophisticated and used to major in Cosmology. The story goes when we were having a group gathering in her room and she told us she haven gotten her dinner! So Julie offered to boil some instant noodles, Neilmary was like “what’s that?!” Oh my! Wayne kinna joke that probably we are all poor people, that’s why we eat instant noodles so frequently..So…after 3 mintues later….Neilmary was shouting across the room : I have a bowl of noodles and hot chocolate (Milo lah :D) in 3 minutes! Of course, for that memorable moment, we took a photo of her having her first quick meal of her life.

Oh, I went for a dairy bar tour today and receive a BIG scoop of free ice-cream. It taste so good and fresh! The milk used in ice-cream making is just directly milked from the cows OUTSIDE the bar. Sound really like a ecological system to me. In Storrs ( that’s a city and Connecticut is a state), UCONN is so big that it is probably everything in Storrs. And people who stay in Storrs probably WORK in UCONN. Hahhaha….So interesting.
